Golinder Publishing is an independent publication on the open web. The site is closer to a library than to a feed: pieces are written to be useful whenever someone finds them, not only on the morning they appear.

The subject range is wide by design. Over a few months it can take in consumer technology, travel, work and money, health, study and learning, and the ordinary practical questions people search for and rarely find answered plainly. What the pieces share is shape rather than subject. Each one starts from a real question, answers it in ordinary language, and ends once the question has been answered.

How the site works

There is nothing here to join. Golinder Publishing has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, no comment threads and no reader submissions. Every page is a static document served as a file, so what you see is the whole of it and reading it asks nothing of you.

The home page lists everything published on this site. Articles keep their original addresses after publication, so a link that worked a year ago should still work today.

Advertising and commercial relationships

Some articles link to companies, products and organizations outside this site, and those outbound links are part of how the site is paid for. A link is a pointer worth checking, not an endorsement this publication stands behind. Where a piece describes a product or a service, verify the details against the provider before you act on them.

Everything is published in English for a general reader. We assume no specialist knowledge, and we try not to spend your time getting to the point.
